Computer simulation allows to choose the best torch design parameters rapidly and reduces the cost of experimental works.

Plasma temperature T, velocity vz, vr, vf, pressure p, current density Jf , electric Ef and magnetic Hz , Hr field intensities, electromagnetic force Fz , Fr, power dissipation sEf 2 can be predicted for any torch geometry on a base of self consistent physical model.

Besides the plasma parameters the model can predict processed surface heating and powder motion, heating and melting inside and outside of the torch.
