WATER DISINFECTION BY PULSED ELECTRIC FIELD

(Pilot industrial plant)

The plant is intended for drinking water disinfection from microorganisms by means of strong pulsed electric field. The disinfection does not change water chemical composition. All the microorganisms are either destroyed, or their concentration drastically lowered down to safe level. The genomes of microorganisms are not affected by the process. 

The efficiency of the process is achieved due to the novel electrostatic concentrator which provides extremely strong electric field in a small area with no risk of electric disruption at the electrodes.
