Technology and equipment for scraping away the surface layer of concrete or other solids contaminated by industrial wastes or radioactive materials.

An electrical discharge between the electrodes inside the solid dielectric material results in the destruction of apart of the concrete surface placed between the electrodes. Dustless underwater discharge provides ecologically pure cleaning process.

The machine includes control unit, charger, high-voltage pulse source, electrode system, and supplementary technological elements necessary for moving the electrode system along the surface.

The machine can have several separate cleaning units.
